svartafjell – styggedalen 

Take the dirt track in towards Helgedalen to begin with. Instead of following the red T-marked path up towards Fanaråken/Skogadalsbøen stay on the dirt track up into Styggedalen. Here you will be met with an impressive view over Hurrungane and Styggedalsbreen. Go around the lake and over Svartafjellet to the path in Skagadalen and then down towards Turtagrø. On Svartefjellet you will pass many hunting-pits for reindeer from the Bronze Age.
